Main Gate

Nearest entrance to Kew Bridge station (national rail for service to and from Waterloo) and Kew Pier river-boat stop. The Main Gate is on Kew Green (391 or 65 buses). About 120m from the gate inside the gardens is the White Peaks shop as well as the catering facilities at White Peaks and the nearby Orangery, with toilets nearby.

Victoria Gate

The largest entrance and nearest to Kew Gardens station (District line and London Overground services), about 3 minutes walk from the station. This gate is on Kew Road, situated in the middle of the Gardens, and the 65 bus stops outside. The Victoria Gate visitor centre provides retail, coffee shop, toilets, information and Friends desk.

Brentford Gate

Adjacent to the Gardens' car park, 10 minutes along the river bank from Kew Pier. Convenient for cyclists and walkers on the tow-path along the River Thames. Please note that the toilets at Brentford Gate have no special access facilities.

Lion Gate

The most southern gate, on Kew Road. Nearest to the Pagoda and Pavilion Restaurant and toilets (approximately 200m). The 65 bus stops outside Lion Gate. The Lion Gate is convenient if you want to walk through the Gardens from Brentford Gate or Main Gate en route to Richmond, or if you are walking from Richmond to visit the Gardens.
