Schools Education - Kew

Pre School and Key Stage 1

A visit to Kew Gardens is a fantastic experience for young children, offering an exciting and stimulating environment that is full of opportunities to learn and play.

The Munch Box is our indoor lunch room and our play area, Climbers and Creepers , provides a safe and exciting space to introduce our youngest visitors to the wonderful world of plants through exploratory play.

Puppet Shows: 'Jackie and the Beanstalk' and 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff'

Weekdays only, selected dates throughout the year. Performances can take a maximum of 30 children and last approximately 45 minutes, plus 60 minutes in Climbers and Creepers. £200 per performance.

These joint performances use puppets to put a science twist on familiar stories. The content is linked to the early years goals and children will learn about the importance of plants and plant and animal lifecycles.

Contact the education department for details.
