Masters Programmes

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew provides taught modules and research opportunities for the following programmes. The university concerned runs the course and is the degree-awarding body. All enquiries should be made directly to the university department concerned.

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew does not deal with application procedures.

Currently these collaborations comprise:

• the one-year MSc course in Ethnobotany run by the University of Kent at Canterbury, Department of Anthropolology and the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE);

• the one-year MSc course in Plant Diversity run by the University of Reading, Department of Botany;

• the one-year MSc course in the Conservation and Utilisation of Plant Genetic Resources, run by the University of Birmingham, School of Life Sciences;

• the one-year MSc course in Plant Conservation (with Seed Banking) run by the University of Sussex, School of Life Sciences.
